Restricting commercial vehicles

  • Recommend a 3.5 tonnes maximum restriction on the size of vehicles that are allowed to access the site from Co-operation Road
  • Commercial access with larger (3.5t>) vehicles will have to use Greenbank Road
  • Vehicles will turn around on site to egress the development
  • Servicing restriction commercial premises - Vehicles only permitted Monday-Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 10am-4pm and no general servicing on Sunday
  • Access for residential deliveries will also be via Greenbank Road
  • No restrictions on the servicing times for residential properties
  • The Management Company will be empowered to enforce all of these restrictions

Size really does matter

  • The Small Parking Space Strategy makes sure parking can be maximised, and reducing the need for on street parking by residents and visitors
  • 10-15% of the spaces to be designated “small car spaces” with a maximum car length of 3.75m
  • Only 25% of residents parking is accessed via Co-operation Road
  • A total of 223 bike spaces are planned
  • This thinking reflects suggestions from residents and planners
